Hadleigh Pines FC
Re-emergence of a super power.

An EGM has been called in many clubs in the Greater Dublin area who are quite concerned about rumours that Hadleigh Pines FC are regrouping after many years apart.

Hadleigh Pines were a well respected and feared side in the mid-ninties; they had great success at street/road match level.

Hadleigh came to prominence in 1990; they were to reach their peak some five or six years later. Their strength lay in their catchment area, young players eager to win and willing to learn. A youth system was seen as crucial and was implemented with great success, many “youths” now present on the senior side. The training regime was tough to say the least, eight in the morning till late at night with an hours break for Neighbours/Home and Away (Magpies provided crucial refreshments (although not all paid for!!!) fat frogs, Mr. Freezes, dan/stinger bars) the players however soon reaped the rewards and soon were feared all over Castleknock.

The only real threat to Hadleigh’s dominance came in the form of Park Avenue. Although the Park Ave. side had some nice players they struggled to match Hadleigh’s determination and desire to win. Many other sides tried to topple Hadleigh; Stockton, Georgian Village & Auburn(young side) all to no avail, but can Hadleigh reproduce some of their past glories only time will tell.
